Meet the women behind the Project

Alyssa Schock is a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Missoula, Montana and has been supporting women in building their health, confidence, and empowerment for over a decade. She found that her schedule was consistently full and came up with the idea to bring foundational, impactful, and contextual information to the world with her expertise, culture, and vision.

Anne Martin is a Master Practitioner also practicing in Missoula, Montana and has been a business owner since 2018 - creating a mental health practice for her clients that marries alternative therapy, coaching, and heart-centered techniques to bring empowerment to those she gets to teach and work with.

The Every Woman Project is an innovative initiative designed to bridge the gap in women’s healthcare by delivering accessible, culturally informed, and empowering pelvic health education to women across transitional phases of life—particularly pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, menopause, and healthy aging.

Ultimately, The Every Woman Project envisions a future where every woman, regardless of location or background, feels informed, supported, and powerfully connected to her health. This initiative represents not only a personal calling, but a necessary evolution in how we care for women—centered in community, expertise, and cultural strength.

How do our passions bring you the meaningful care you’re looking for?

Alyssa Schock, DPT

“As an Indigenous female Doctor of Physical Therapy, I have witnessed firsthand the overwhelming demand for trusted, compassionate care, particularly in underserved communities. My practice remains fully booked months in advance, and the lack of other Indigenous providers to help meet this need has only deepened the urgency for scalable, community-rooted solutions. In response, The Every Woman Project was created.”

Alyssa was born and raised in Montana. She studied Human Performance and Athletic Training at the University of Montana, graduating in 2004. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2016 also at the University of Montana.

Her career has been centered around pelvic health for all genders throughout the lifespan. She has studied pelvic oncological rehab, participated in bringing women’s health care to other countries, built several hospital based prenatal care and education programs and developed skills to treat prenatal and postnatal patients. She is certified in dry needling, and pelvic oncology rehab. She has specialized manual training for joint mobilization and manipulation.

Over the last several years Alyssa has encountered a population of women who have not had great success with hormonal transitions and are experiencing symptoms of perimenopause and menopause including body pain, mental health dysfunction, and movement impairments. Her personal interest, research, and training has developed more positive outcomes in treating these symptoms. She looks forward to more research and treatment options for this population of women in the near future!

Anne Martin, MP

“I’m a former first responder and I sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury that guided me into a new career. I became a Master Practitioner in the field of Psychology and found myself working with clients in all areas of their life, rather than just their mindset. I found a love in building trust and richness in the lives of clients and patients - and fell in love with developing people’s careers, physical health, and relationships. The Every Woman Project brings my inspiration to a space where I’m truly passionate about the transformation we can provide.”

Anne was a first responder for 14 years and became a mental health specialist after being injured in the line of duty. She brings 7 years of business expertise in the medical and environmental fields. She has expert skills in trauma, neuroplasticity, breathwork, business management, and coaching, and is certified by the Association of Integrative Psychology.

She has accumulated thousands of hours of personal and group transformation in the realms of personal growth, empowerment, mental health, and lasting change. Anne works with other medical and mental health professionals around the United States to bring educational content, coaching and consulting, and truly empowering results to those that are willing to make changes in their lives.

During Anne’s journey back to health after her injury in 2017, she found so many circumstances where she was uninformed and wanted more caring support during treatment and healing. Her expertise and desire to bring a soft space to patients builds a powerful vision to the Every Woman Project in empowering women to learn, live, and be excited about being healthy and informed.
